Clerical Officer - Altura Credit Union

Applications are invited for the position of Clerical Officer with Altura Credit Union Ltd, primarily based at our Head Office in Gorey.

The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering excellent member service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Credit Union. The position involves a combination of front-line member service, administrative duties, and training within our Lending Department.

Please note that this role carries a five-day attendance requirement, which includes Saturday working. The successful applicant may be required to work at any
of Altura Credit Union’s locations in line with operational requirements. Training will be provided at our Head Office in Gorey.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Experience in cash handling and reconciliation.
• Strong literacy, numeracy, and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven experience dealing with the public in a customer-focused/ call centre environment.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
• Knowledge or experience of lending processes (desirable).
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A relevant third-level qualification, QFA, CUA, or related qualifications will be considered an advantage.
• The ability and willingness to complete examinations required under the Minimum Competency Requirements (MCR).
• A full clean driving licence.
• A motivated, career-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and develop within the financial services sector.
