Payment Methods
Counter Transactions
Front counter transactions can be processed during our office opening hours: Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4.00pm (throughout lunch) Wicklow offices close at 3pm on Saturdays. Loan applications and collections are processed at the same times as above.
Direct Debits
Direct Debits can be used to make loan repayments, paid into savings and even split to pay into a number of members Credit Union accounts. All Direct Debits requests must originate from Altura Credit Union Ltd. - please contact any staff member for a Direct Debit Request form.
Pay Deductions
We have arrangements with many local employers who are pleased to offer their employees a pay deduction facility. This is a hassle-free way of making a loan repayment or building up your savings.
Debit Cards
We can now accept Debit Card payments at the counter, online, or over the phone. You can pay 24/7 using the online/automated phone service after hours (please see the online payment section below). We do not accept credit cards or Non-Irish issued debit cards.
Online Payments

Debit Card Payments via Our Automated Telephone System
Our telephone (053-9488700) service has been upgraded and will give you the option of paying into your account by laser 24/7, 365 days a year!
Credit Transfers
We allow members to transfer funds electronically via Online Banking directly into their Credit Union Account. Please contact the office and we will supply you with your own IBAN & the BIC, you will need these for CT payments. Please Put your Name or Member number in the reference field.
Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT)
We can now transfer funds from your Credit Union Account directly to your bank account at Loan Issue or Withdrawal. Please bring the BIC, IBAN & any reference with you.
