The Credit Union National Final Schools Quiz 2025 took place yesterday Sunday 6th April in the RDS Dublin, hosted by John Sharpson. This year, over 25,000 students from all over Ireland took part, culminating in the final, which showcased the top 88 teams, representing a total of 352 young quizzers.

Representing Altrua Credit Union were the U13 team from Scoil Naomh Iosaf in Baltinglass, along with two teams from Roundwood National School—one competing in the U13 category and the other in the U11 category. The competition was fierce, with both U13 teams from Scoil Naomh Iosaf and Roundwood NS securing spots in the top 10 on the final scoreboard out of 44 teams in Competition B.

In a tense finish, the U13 team from Roundwood NS reached a tiebreaker question for 1st place, ultimately finishing as runners-up.

Congratulations to all the teams, we are so proud. Special thanks went to the devoted teachers and supportive parents who played a key role in guiding these students to success.

This event highlights the passion, teamwork, and brains of Ireland’s young quizzers.
