Introducing Your New Visa Debit Card

At Altura Credit Union Ltd., we are committed to continuously improving the services we offer our members. As part of this commitment, we are pleased to announce that we are transitioning our current account debit cards from Mastercard to Visa.

Over the coming weeks, all existing and new current account holders will receive a new Visa Debit card, delivered directly to their home address.

New Visa Debit Card Design

What You Need to Do

There is no immediate action required until your new card arrives.

Once you receive your Visa Debit Card:

• Activate your new card as soon as possible
• Set up your new PIN by following the instructions provided in the letter that accompanies your card.
• Create your online shopping password for secure online payments, also by following the instructions provided.
• Update any recurring payments or subscriptions with your new card details.
• Begin using your card for everyday transactions.
• Cut up and securely dispose of your old Mastercard.
• Add your new card to your digital (Apple/Google) wallet.
• Remove your old card from any digital (Apple/Google) wallets.

Your existing Mastercard will continue to work until your new Visa Debit card is activated. We recommend activating your new card as soon as possible to ensure uninterrupted service.

Secure Online Shopping with Visa

Your new Visa Debit card includes an extra layer of protection when shopping online through Visa Secure.

When making online purchases, you may be asked to confirm your identity using:

• A one-time passcode sent to your phone, and
• An online shopping password that you will create after receiving your card.

Full instructions on how to set up your password will be included with your card. This added security helps protect you against fraud and unauthorised transactions and keeps your payments safe.
