Upcoming Electronic Payment Service Interruption
Upcoming Service Interruption – October 3rd to 5th
We would like to make members aware of essential maintenance that may temporarily affect some payment services this weekend. This work is being carried out by our service providers as part of mandatory updates required for Rulebook 2025. While maintenance of this kind is rare, it is unfortunately outside of our control.
What’s Happening?
Our payment service provider will carry out system upgrades during the following periods:
SEPA Credit Transfer & Direct Debit (SCT / SDD)
Outgoing payments will be paused from Friday, October 3rd at 2:40 PM (GMT) until Sunday, October 5th at 5:00 AM (GMT).
Payments sent after 2:40 PM on October 3rd will be queued and processed once the upgrade is complete.
Incoming payments scheduled for Friday, October 3rd will still be delivered as normal.
Incoming payments dated for Monday, October 6th will begin processing early on Sunday, October 5th.
SEPA Instant Payments (SCT Inst)
Instant payments will be unavailable from Saturday, October 4th at 10:55 PM (GMT) until Sunday, October 5th at 5:00 AM (GMT).
What Does This Mean for You?
We expect only minimal disruption, but if you plan to make important payments during this period, we recommend arranging them outside of the maintenance window to avoid any delays.
